 Nya shares Italian history and culture with students at Claude language school in Olot

This Wednesday, author Nya gave a talk for the Italian students at the Claude language school in Olot. Nya spoke about the relationship the Italian language has with power and literature, looking at how Italian developed and spread from the unification of the country to present day.

Nya is a writer, linguist and anthropologist who works in Italy, Spain and South America. Her research focuses mainly on the vitality and endangeredness of indigenous languages around the world. She’s now at Faberllull working on her analysis of cultural and linguistic aspects of the Zoque communities in Mexico.
